Jesenec is a village and municipality (obec) in Prostějov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 4.81 square kilometres (1.86 sq mi), and has a population of 336 (as at 28 August 2006).

Jesenec lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) north-west of Prostějov, 29 km (18 mi) west of Olomouc, and 184 km (114 mi) east of Prague.
