Vanovice is a village and municipality (obec) in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 12.15 square kilometres (4.69 sq mi), and has a population of 531 (as at 28 August 2006).

Vanovice lies approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) north of Blansko, 42 km (26 mi) north of Brno, and 172 km (107 mi) east of Prague.
