Florida Forever

Florida Forever Act is a land conservation program in Florida. Since the inception of the Florida Forever program in July 2001, the state of Florida has purchased more than 814,063 acres of land with a little over $3.1 billion (as of 11/30/2019). Approximately 2.5 million acres have been purchased under the program and its predecessor: Preservation 2000 (P2000).[1][2]
According to one poll the program is popular and few Floridians favor cutting the funding for Florida Forever Act.[3]
