Lasallia is a genus of lichenized fungi in the family Umbilicariaceae. The genus contains 12 species with a widespread, but predominantly temperate distribution.[1] Phylogenetic analysis of internal transcribed spacer DNA has shown that the genus is monophyletic.[2]

High performance liquid chromatography analysis of eleven Lasallia species revealed a number of secondary metabolites in this genus, including gyrophoric acid, lecanoric acid, umbilicaric acid, 7-chloroemodin, valsarin, skyrin, hiascic acid, and ovoic acid.[3]
