This redirect is about the use of the phrase "Heaviside Layer" in the Musical "Cats". For the actual Heaviside layer, see Kennelly–Heaviside layer.

The plot of the musical Cats revolves around a tribe of cats vying to go to the Heaviside Layer, which is used as a metaphor for rebirth.[1] The concept and the corresponding song "Journey to the Heaviside Layer" are based on an unpublished poem fragment by T. S. Eliot.[2]
