Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School (Malay: Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab, abbreviation: SMSUA) is a government secondary school in Lupak Luas, a settlement on the outskirts of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. The school provides five years of secondary education which culminates in the sitting of GCE O Level examination. The current principal is Sinasuria binti Ibrahim.[1] It is a school under Cluster 3, a school district of the Ministry of Education.[1]this year(2019) the school celebrating the silver jubilee ( jubli perak) of the school (1994-2019)
Name
The school is named after Umar, a close companion of Muhammad and the second caliph of the Rashidun Caliphate.[citation needed]
