This is an Icelandic name. The last name is patronymic, not a family name; this person is referred to by the given name Kristján.

Kristján B. Jónasson is an Icelandic book publisher at Crymogea Publishing and the former head of the Association of Icelandic Book Publishers.[1][2] He has written on Sigurður Nordal.[3]
