Sir John Houstoun, 2nd Baronet

Sir John Houstoun of that Ilk, 2nd Baronet, (died 1717) was a Scottish Commissioner for Stirlingshire and for Renfrewshire in the Parliament of Scotland.
He was the son of Sir Patrick Houstoun, 1st Baronet of that Ilk, who he succeeded in 1696.
He was shire commissioner for Renfrewshire from 1685 to 1686, for Stirlingshire both in the Convention of the Estates (1689) and from 1689 to 1701 and again for Renfrewshire from 1702 to 1707.
Sir John married Lady Anne (b. 3 March 1671), daughter of John Drummond, 1st Duke of Melfort, and left a son and successor, Sir John Houston, 3rd Baronet of that Ilk, M.P.
