Philip Sendak

Philip Sendak (September 15, 1894 – June 14, 1970) was a children's literature author. He is the father of the author and illustrator Maurice Sendak, winner of the Caldecott Medal, and the children's author Jack Sendak.

Sendak died at the age of 75.
