Mahad Mohamed Salad (Somali: Mahad Maxamed Salaad, Arabic: مهاد محمد صلاد) is a Somali politician. He is currently a member of the Somali Federal Parliament. Mahad is also a member of the Union for Peace and Development Party and one of the key people of the Peace and Development Party, he served as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia in 2014. In February of the year, Salad was appointed state Minister of presidential affairs by Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke.[1]
