NUKU Theatre

NUKU Theatre (Estonian: NUKU teater, formerly Estonian State Puppet Theatre and Estonian Puppet and Youth Theatre) is Estonian theatre which is located in Tallinn. Institution focuses on puppetry. It is only professional puppet and visual theatre in Estonia.[1]

The theatre was found in 1952. The main initiator was Ferdinand Veike.[1]

In the same house of the theatre is located also puppetry museum.[1]

Since 2013 director of the theatre is Joonas Tartu.[1]
