Badminton tournament
The 2020 German Open (officially known as the Yonex German Open 2020 for sponsorship reasons) is a badminton tournament that originally scheduled to take place at the Innogy Sporthalle in Mülheim , Germany , from 3 to 8 March 2020. However, on 26 February 2020, the Badminton World Federation (BWF) announced it has postponed the tournament due to the coronavirus pandemic in the country .[1] It has a total prize of $170,000.
Tournament
The 2020 German Open is the fifth tournament of the 2020 BWF World Tour and also part of the German Open championships, which have been held since 1955. This tournament is organized by the German Badminton Association and sanctioned by the BWF.[2]
Venue
This international tournament will be held at the Innogy Sporthalle in Mülheim , North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .[2]
