The Sunda coucal (Centropus nigrorufus) is cuckoo species in the family Cuculidae that is endemic to Java in Indonesia. It has been listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List since 1994, as the population is small and threatened by habitat destruction and trapping.[1]
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical mangrove forest, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and swampland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
