Sophie Alexandra Hemming (born 20 June 1980) is an English rugby union player. She represented England at the 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup and was also named in the squad to the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.[1]

Hemming attended Norwich High School for Girls.[2] Outside rugby, Hemming is a veterinarian.[3] Her rugby career required for her to make significant adjustments to her profession, transitioning from a farmyard to a domestic vet. She has said that this change will help her plan her training a lot easier and will reduce the physical exhaustion that comes with her demanding job treating farm animals.[4]
