David Jude Johnson pronunciation (born 16 October 1971 in Arasikere, Karnataka) is a former Indian cricketer who bowled fast and played in 2 Tests in 1996 and gained three wickets. He was the fastest bowler of India with maximum speed of more than 150 km/hour. He made his debut against Australia in the one-off Test at the Ferozshah Kotla and then went on the tour of South Africa but got to play only in the first Test. While at the First class level, he played 28 matches and pocketed 95 wickets besides scoring a lone century — an unbeaten 101.
