Florence Hein was a Scotland-born American screenwriter who worked in Hollywood at Metro[1] in the early to mid 1920s. She was reportedly a "lifelong student of music," and she became Pola Negri's private secretary after she stopped writing screenplays.[2][3][4]

Biography

Florence was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, to Gustav Hein and Laura Hyde. The family immigrated to the United States when Florence was a girl.
