Prolabeops melanhypopterus is a species of cyprinid in the genus Procypris.[1] It inhabits Cameroon[1] and has a maximum length of 8.5 centimetres (3.3 in).[2] It has been assessed as "least concern" on the IUCN Red List[1] and is considered harmless to humans.[2]
