McDonald and Dodds is a British crime drama television series starring Tala Gouveia and Jason Watkins as the mismatched eponymous detectives. The first episode, entitled "The Fall of The House of Crockett", aired on 1 March 2020 on ITV1. Robert Lindsay guest starred in the first episode, which derived its plot in part from King Lear by William Shakespeare; and Hugh Dennis and Joanna Scanlan in the second.[1][2][3]

The series was primarily filmed in Bath, Somerset. The working title during production was Invisible.[4]
