This is an Icelandic name. The last name is patronymic, not a family name; this person is referred to by the given name Sigurbergur.

Sigurbergur Sigsteinsson (born 10 February 1948) is an Icelandic former handball player who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics.[1]
