Pouria Nouri (Persian: پوریا نوری),is an Iranian cinema photographer. has worked in various artistic genres and is one of the prominent photographers in Iranian cinema and theater.

During the 2018 Dervish protests, because of his brother Kasra Nouri, he was arrested along with his mother Shokoufeh Yadollahi and his brother Amir Nouri.[1]

Personal life

Pouria Nouri [2] started photography as a self-taught photographer and began her career as an artistic news photographer when she was 17 years old.At a young age, he became popular with art and was rapidly advancing That along His family members Kasra Nouri, Amir Nouri and his mother Shoukouf Yadollahi were arrested along with other dervishes on Seventh Golestan Street. [3]

Arrest

Pouria Noori was arrested during the 7th Golestan incident on  20 February. Shortly afterwards he was temporarily arrested but quickly re-arrested because of a serious physical condition and urgent need for surgery to treat fractures of the cheek and jaw and several teeth.[5]He was sentenced to two years 'imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court, his sentence was reduced to 6 months' imprisonment, and he was released from Tehran's Greater Tehran Prison (Fashafuyeh) on October 1.Pouria Nouri, along with her two brothers, Kasra and Amir Nouri and their mother Shokouf Yadollahi, have been sentenced to a total of 25 years in prison and six years in prison for media and social activities.According to images posted on social networks, prominent Iranian actors Satar Eskandari and Amir Hossein Sediq visited him after Pouria's release, prompting sharp criticism from the Kayhan, Javan and Fars news agencies. Both of these actresses became cinema and television.
