Richard E. Parks (October 28, 1943 – March 1978) was an American basketball player.
A 6'7" forward, Parks played college basketball at Saint Louis University (he transferred from University of Tulsa, where he was once the free throw percentage leader in 1963–64).[1]
Parks was drafted by the Cincinnati Royals in the 5th round (7th pick, 47th overall) of the 1966 NBA draft; previously, he was also drafted in 1965, but in the 13th round (94th overall) by the Philadelphia 76ers.[2]
Parks played on the 1967–68 Pittsburgh Pipers team that won the 1968 ABA Championship.[3]
