Her Winning Way is a lost[1] 1921 American silent comedy film directed by Joseph Henabery. The screenplay was written by Douglas Z. Doty based upon the novel Ann Annington by Edgar Jepson and the play Ann by Lechmere Worrall. The film stars Mary Miles Minter, Gaston Glass, Carrie Clark Ward, Fred Goodwins, Helen Dunbar, and Grace Morse. The film was released in September 1921, by Paramount Pictures.[2][3]

Plot

As described in a film magazine,[4] Ann Annington (Minter) writes book reviews for a newspaper and when a reporter fails his assignment to get an interview with the noted author Harold Hargrave (Glass), she undertakes to meet the young man. She rents the room next door to his work shop and by impersonating a maid soon wins his good graces. Hargrave's fiancee breaks her engagement when she sees Ann on the premises, and Ann's finance also discovers that Hargrave has supplanted him in her affections.
