The Stranger is a lost[1] 1924 silent film drama directed by Joseph Henabery and starring Betty Compson and Richard Dix. It is based on a novel, The First and the Last, by John Galsworthy. It was produced by Famous Players-Lasky and distributed through Paramount Pictures.[2]
