Morning on the Lièvre is a Canadian short film, directed by David Bairstow and released in 1961. The film depicts two men canoeing on the Du Lièvre River in Quebec, while Archibald Lampman's poem "Morning on the Lièvre" is narrated by broadcaster George Whalley.[1]
The film won the Canadian Film Award for Best Theatrical Short Film at the 14th Canadian Film Awards in 1962.[2]
