Vibha Dadheech is a noted Indian classical dancer in the Kathak dance form. She began learning Kathak from Raigarh Court dancer Pt. Firtu Maharaj, and later in Guru Shishya Parampara from Padma Shri Pt. Shambhu Maharaj.[1] She is also the senior-most disciple and wife of Padma Shri Dr. Pt. Puru Dadheech.[2]

Vibha Dadheech graduated in 1988 with a Doctorate PhD in Kathak from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Khairagarh. Her topic for research was Dance Hand Gestures - Bharatiya Nritya ki Varnamala: Hast Mudrayen.[3]

Vibha Dadheech has been felicitated with Madhya Pradesh's highest Civilian Award The Shikhar Samman.[4]

She was awarded the Senior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Govt. Of India in Kathak for years 2011–12.[5]

She is an established author and published her research book Bharatiya Nritya ki Varnamala: Hast Mudrayen (ABC of Indian Dance Gestures) in Hindi language. Hardcover - 2003 ISBN 978-8190105712[6] Her book has also been prescribed for the Bachelor level of Dance syllabus at University of Indore, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.[7]

Dr. Vibha Dadheech has received the Life-time Achievement Award 2015 at the 25th Gopi Krishna Mahotsav, Mumbai for serving Kathak for over 50 years.[1]
