Wan is a village in the Sialkot District in the Punjab province of Pakistan, situated between Daska, Sambrial and Wazirabad.

WAN officially and WAIN in common-man talk, is a village situated approx 12 KM South west of city Sambrial of Sialkot District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Previously this village had been administrated by Daska tehsil council eventually came under Tehsil Sambrial by July 1, 2004.

Agriculture is most prominent source of livelihood of most of the residents. Most fertile agricultural land offers to cultivate Potato, wheat, rice, sunflower, Maize and animal fodders are the sessions. Apart from local sources, a major portion of population been migrated to other countries (Middle east, Europe, Americana, Far east) to earn bread and support the families. Famous Greek Aik just passing by close proximity of village. Once their was a time then people were drinking water, washing clothes and household stuff with its clean and hygienic water but nowadays industrial units situated in Sialkot city are damping their polluted/ contaminated water that made the people sick (hepatitis, carcinogenic) effects.

Although this village is lacking for local Hospital facility but has two high schools one for boys and one for girls[2], three community centers, three gravyards (Two Muslims, One for Christians) and one designated area (Shamshan Ghat) for Hindu community. All religious communities (Muslims, Christian, Hindus) are provided with Worship places. Village is provided with natural Gas distribution system, electricity, Internet, carpet roads and all sorts of infrastructure of modern day amenities. Chaudhry Muhammad Khan cheema was the man who donated land for the construction of Eid GHA in wan . Rao Muhammad Nafees is the person of action who spent millions from his pocket to bring facility and comfort to the people of this village. He upgraded schooling system, built community centers and bridges over Greek of Aik to link the other villages.Chaudhry Rasheed Iqbal cheema has spent a lot on the renovation of wan village mosques and has also built a mosque and a block of rooms in girls high school in memory of his parents.Chaudry Muhammad Arif cheema 'Chaudhry Nazar Muhammad cheema and Malik Allah Ditta had given their whole lives for religious and general education of the students of village wan and neighbouring villages.The Cheemas of wan gave generous donations for purchasing of land for girls school .
