Amelia Egerton, Lady Hume
Amelia Egerton also known as Lady Amelia Hume (born 1751, d. 1809) was a British horticulturalist. She and her husband Sir Abraham Hume, 2nd Baronet cultivated plants at Wormleybury, their estate in Hertfordshire.[1]
She was daughter of John Egerton, Bishop of Durham, and mother of Amelia Long, Lady Farnborough.[2]

Sir Abraham Hume II (1749-1838)...with his wife Amelia and head gardner James Mean, set about cultivating exotics. They cultivated many rare plants, including those from the East Indies and India, between 1785 and 1825 and numerous examples still survive today.
