In computer networking davfs2[1][2][3][4][5] is a Linux tool for connecting to WebDAV shares as though they were local disks. It is an open-source[6] GPL-licensed file system for mounting WebDAV servers. For communicating with the kernel, davfs2 can either use the FUSE file system API, or the Coda network file system protocol over sockets[dubiousdiscuss]. davfs2 uses the neon WebDAV library for communicating with the web server.

Applications

davfs2 is e.g. used with the Apache web server,[7] and Subversion installations.[8][9]
