The Eden Prairie Police Department is the main law enforcement agency in the city of Eden Prairie, Minnesota. [1] The department employs about sixty sworn law-enforcement officers and thirty support staff. The department was established on the first day of 1973.[2]

The department has three divisions, Patrol, Investigations and Support. The Patrol Division includes a SWAT and police dog elements.

The Eden Prairie Police Department has 1 Chief of Police, 1 Deputy Chief of Police, 3 Lieutenants, 12 Sergeants, 37 Police Officers, 13 Investigative Officers (Investigators), and roughly 24 support civilian staff.
