Clarke Canfield

Clarke Canfield is a former longtime New England journalist and reporter for The Associated Press, and the author of Those Damned Yankees, The Not-So-Great History of Baseball's Evil Empire.[1] He now works for Southern Maine Community College.

Biography

Canfield is a native of Boston, and now lives in South Portland, Maine with his wife and son. He was a journalist for more than 30 years and is now the communications director for Southern Maine Community College. He previously worked for The Associated Press, and at daily newspapers in Arkansas, Nashville, and Maine. He has also been the editor of three magazines and written freelance articles for numerous publications. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Denver and a master's degree from Boston University.
