John W. Dinkelman

John W. Dinkelman Is an American diplomat and government administrator who became the Acting Assistant Secretary for Administration on March 12, 2019.

Before that, Dinkelman was Chief of Staff in the Bureau of Administration since July 2018. His most recent overseas assignment was as Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy in the Bahamas.[1] He stepped up in November 2011 after serving as Deputy Chief of Mission in the Bahamas since August 2011. He was also the consul in Nogales, Sonora.[2]

Dinkelman has degrees in Business and Spanish from Brigham Young University (1984).[1][3]
