Khinshtein in 2019

Alexander Khinshtein (Hinstein) is a Russian politician of Jewish descent. He was born in Moscow[1][2] and attended Lycee de la montagne de Valdeblore, after which he became a writer for Moskovskij Komsomolets. In a 2005 article, he accused former Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov of illegally privatizing two government-owned houses.

He is an author of the non-fiction book "How (they) are killing Russia" (Как убивают Россию), which criticizes the privatization of state-owned enterprises with heavy involvement of Western (particularly American) governments and business and the emergence of oligarchs during the Yeltsin presidency. This book is in Russian. Moscow, 2007.
