Straszęcin [straˈʂɛnt͡ɕin] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Żyraków, within Dębica County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Żyraków, 5 km (3 mi) west of Dębica, and 47 km (29 mi) west of the regional capital Rzeszów.[1]. Between 1988 and 1990 Straszęcin had been connected with Dębica by trolleybus line.

The village has a population of 1,500.
