Lucas Eduardo Ribeiro de Souza (born 16 June 2000), known as Edu, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a defender for Athletico Paranaense.

Life and career

On June 2019, Mano Menezes promoted Edu to Cruzeiro senior team after the club sold Murilo Cerqueira to FC Lokomotiv Moscow.[1] On January 22, 2020, Edu made his professional debut when he replaced Jadsom Silva in the 58th minute of Cruzeiro's Campeonato Mineiro match against Boa Esporte Clube.[2]
