Ervaticine may be an antibacterial 2-acylindole alkaloid with IUPAC Name (E)-4-ethylidene-3,4,5,7-tetrahydro-2,5-ethanoazocino[4,3-b]indol-6(1H)-one.[1][2]

Medical

Ervaticine is predicted to bind to penicillin binding proteins.[1]

Natural occurrence

Ervaticine occurs in Ervatamia coronaria and Tabernaemontana_divaricata.[2]
