The Cane River is a stream in Yancey County, North Carolina. It originates on the western slopes of Mount Mitchell and flows northward until it joins the North Toe River to form the Nolichucky River.[2] It flows through the communities of Pensacola, Burnsville, Cane River, Ramseytown, and Huntdale.[3]
