Andi Zeqiri (born 22 June 1999) is a Kosovo-Albanian football player who plays as centre-forward for Swiss side Lausanne.[1]

Club career

Early career

Born in Lausanne in 1999, Zeqiri started his football career with local team Stade Lausanne-Ouchy youth team. Zeqiri moved to Lausanne in 2011 at the age of 12.[2]

Lausanne-Sport

In 2015, Zeqiri was called up for Lausanne first team. On 20 March 2016, he made his Swiss Challenge League debut against LeMont at Stade Sous-Ville, replacing Anđelko Savić at the 71st minute.[3] On 21 April 2016, Zeqiri scored his first league goal against Wohlen. In 2015/16 season, Zeqiri played fourteen games and scored two goals. In the season Lausanne won the 2015–16 Swiss Challenge League. On 18 September 2015, Zeqiri played in Swiss Cup against Thun.[4]

Juventus (loan)

In August 2016, Zeqiri joined Juventus on a season long loan with an option to buy.[5][6]

Lausanne-Sport

In July 2017, Zeqiri opted for his come back to Lausanne.[7]

International career

Born in Switzerland, Zeqiri is of Kosovo Albanian descent.[8] Zeqiri is a member of Switzerland national under-19 football team in the 2017 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification.[9]On June 18 2020, Andi's father Avdi Zeqiri confirmed to futbolli.info that Andi is getting all necessary documents to complete a move to Kosovo ahead of their game against North Macedonia in October.
