Al-Quds Hilal Club (Arabic: نادي هلال القدس), famously known as Hilal al-Quds which translates to "Crescent of Jerusalem" is a Palestinian football team based in Jerusalem,[1] that plays in the West Bank Premier League. The 12,500-capacity Faisal Al-Husseini International Stadium is their home stadium in Al-Ram near Jerusalem.

History

Hilal Alquds was established in 1972 with an idea by Mahdi Hijazi. The club included football, scouting, boxing, judo and Karate. The club saw now a major sporting, social and cultural revolution. It was attended by dozens of games and the establishment of three important centers: Culture, Arts, Fitness Center and Football Academy. The club made also the establishment of the largest summer camp in Palestine as the club embraces the first 3D cinema in Jerusalem and the largest collection of sacred scouts[2].
