Anette Natalia Vázquez Mendoza[a] (born 11 March 2002),[1] known as Anette Vázquez, is a Mexican professional football midfielder who currently plays for Gudalajara (commonly known as Chivas)[2][3] of the Liga MX Femenil, the first professional women's soccer league in Mexico.[4] In 2017, she helped elevate Chivas[5] to win the first professional women's soccer championship in the country in front of a record-setting 32,466 spectators.[6] As of 2018[update] Vázquez also plays for the Mexico women's national under-20 football team.[7][8]
Playing career
Guadalajara, 2017–
Vazquez began playing for Guadalajara during the inaugural season of Liga MX Femenil. Vasquez scored the first-ever goal for the team.[3] In July 2017, she scored the game-winning goal and helped the team win the inaugural Tapatío Women's Classic 3–0.[9]
