Norman H. Smith (born 28 March 1933) is a retired lieutenant general in the United States Marine Corps who served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower and Reserve Affairs from 1989 to 1991.[1] He also served as commander of the 3rd Marine Division from 1987 to 1989.[2] Smith is an alumnus of the University of Arkansas.[3]
