Don't Let Love Slip Away is the third studio album by American R&B/Soul singer Freddie Jackson . Released on July 29, 1988 by Capitol Records , the album reached number one on the U.S. R&B albums chart and peaked at number 48 on the Billboard 200 . It was certified gold by the RIAA in April 1989. The singles, "Nice 'N' Slow " and "Hey Lover ", reached number one on the R&B singles chart.
