Morten Leuch

Morten Leuch (15 April 1732 – 24 January 1768) was a Norwegian timber trader and landowner. He was born in Christiania; the son of merchant Peter Mortensen Leuch and Anna Catharina Hellesen. Leuch was the owner of Bogstad Estate, which he inherited in 1756. He married Mathia Collett in 1758. Christian Braunmann Tullin wrote the poem "Maidagen" to their wedding. After his death, his wife married landowner Bernt Anker.[1][2]
