Gayathri Reddy is an Indian model and actress. She was a finalist in the beauty contest Femina Miss India 2016. She made her film debut with Bigil (2019).
Career
At twenty years of age, Gayathri was a finalist in Femina Miss India 2016 and won two sub-contest awards.[1][2][3][4][5] She was selected as a wild card entrant as one of Varun Dhawan's style buddies, a campaign that is intended to celebrate the uniqueness of Indian girls.[6] Gayathri made her film debut in Bigil (2019) in which she played Maari, one of the female soccer players. She had never played football before and took part in a forty-five day boot-camp to improve her football skills. Regarding her role in the film, she stated that "It was quite difficult to work with Vijay sir initially because there were scenes where I had to look him in the eye and who resentment".[7][8]
