GHURKO is a village of Tehsil Kharian District Gujrat, in the Punjab, province of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.After independence, the village grown much in both population as well as education.This village roughly 140 km from Islamabad the capital of the country.Most more than 99% of people blongs to same caste GUJJAR.

There is ONE Model Public School upto 8th Grade in Ghurko.One commercial Private HBL bank on main road of the Village. 1 Private Hospital. There is 580 houses in this village. More than 3000 people's lives in this village. Some of famous streets of village also called Gali in local Punjabi Language are Bank wali Gali, Aslam shopkeer wali Gali, Juma masjid wali Gali and Tariq Amin wali Gali.
