Luigi Ernesto Palletti (born 29 October 1956) is the bishop of La Spezia-Sarzana-Brugnato.[1]

Entered the major seminary of Genoa at the age of 20 years, he attended courses for theological studies at the Theological Faculty of Northern Italy (Genoa Branch). He was ordained a priest 29 June 1983 in Genoa. On 18 December 2004, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Fundi and at the same time Auxiliary Bishop of Genoa. He was ordained as a bishop on 16 January 2005 by Tarcisio Bertone, S.D.B.
