Major-General Gwyn Jenkins OBE is a Royal Marines officer.

Military career

Jenkins was educated at Malmesbury School[1].On return from a deployment to Afghanistan in 2011[2] Jenkins became Military Assistant to the Prime Minister.[3] He went on to become Deputy National Security Adviser for Conflict, Stability & Defence in 2016,[4] Commander, 3 Commando Brigade in 2017[5] and Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (Policy) in 2019.[6]
