Praveen Gurung (Template:Lang-ne, 30 April 1962–6 August 2000) was a folk music singer and music arranger of Nepal. He has sung dozens of duet songs that are still popular. The song "yo daju ko mirmire bhakha..." is his most popular duet song.

Gurung was killed when hit by a Jeep, allegedly driven by Prince Paras on 6 August 2000 at Kathmandu.[1][2]
