Commercial Bay is a development in Auckland, New Zealand, originally scheduled to open in March 2020.[5] On the 27th of March, 2020, it was announced the opening would be delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic.[6] The development consists of a 39 floor office tower, anchored by PricewaterhouseCoopers[7] and a shopping centre with 18,000 m2 (190,000 sq ft) of retail space, replacing the Westfield Group-owned Downtown Shopping Centre, which was previously located on the site.[8] The office tower is the tallest building in New Zealand and the 2nd tallest structure in Auckland behind the Sky Tower.

In June 2019, the tower was topped out [9] and became the tallest building in New Zealand, surpassing the Vero Centre. On the 11th of June 2020, the tower was opened by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.[10]
