The Bentonville Arkansas Temple is a planned temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) to be constructed in Bentonville, Arkansas. The Bentonville Arkansas Temple will be the first temple of the LDS Church in the state of Arkansas.[1][2]

History

On October 5, 2019, during the church's general conference, church president Russell M. Nelson announced plans to construct the Bentonville Arkansas Temple.[3]

The temples location was announced on April 23, 2020, on an 8.8 acre lot adjacent to a current meetinghouse on McCollum Drive.[4][5][6]

Renderings have not yet been released, however, it will be a modern central spire temple with two Ordinance rooms and two Sealing rooms.[1]

Groundbreaking and opening dates have not yet been scheduled.
