Sham Rock are an Irish pseudo-folk band, known solely for their 1998 single, "Tell Me Ma" (a pop version of 19th century children's song "I'll Tell Me Ma"). The track remained in the top 100 of the UK Singles Chart for thirteen weeks, peaking at number thirteen.[1][2] It sold over 200,000 copies in the United Kingdom and Ireland.[citation needed]

A one-hit wonder, Sham Rock had no other chart entries.[1]
